At the beginning of the standard visit, our documentary provides you with a unique insight into the workings of our wine estate. We take you to our oldest vineyard, where we discover the secrets of viticulture in Heuvelland and set out the journey of the grape plant, from its first germination to the final maturation of the grapes. We take a look behind the scenes in our vinification room and immerse ourselves in the production process from pressing to bottling. During the Short visit, we let you taste two of our wines. You are more than welcome to ask questions at any time during the visit.

The deluxe visit comes with a bonus experience. At the beginning of the visit, we treat you to a glass of sparkling wine. Our documentary will provide you with a unique insight into the workings of our wine estate. After this video, we take you to our oldest vineyard, where we discover the secrets of winemaking in Heuvelland and set out the journey of the grape plant, from its first germination to its final maturation. Finally, we take a look behind the scenes of our vinification room and immerse ourselves in the production process from pressing to bottling. During the deluxe visit, we let our taste buds indulge in one of our dry wines, a sweet wine and  wine chocolate. To top off your experience, every visitor will be given a bottle of wine of their choice.

Enjoy our regional delicacies in the very heart of our vineyard. Monteberg Wine Estate will prepare you a mouth-watering picnic with the Flemish Westhoek’s most delicious local products, such as fresh charcuterie, butter, yogurt, cheese, jam and mustard, freshly baked bread, fruit and hard-boiled eggs. Of course, the picnic experience would not be complete without a glass of wine, or perhaps a freshly made fruit juice.

All regional products are carefully selected from our best local farms. When selecting products, we keep in mind their seasonal character.

• Can I bring my own picnic to the vineyards? Of course you can. We ask you to leave a security deposit should you wish to hire our materials, such as a picnic basket, cutlery or plates.
• Rainy day? That shouldn’t disturb your picnic too much, as we are happy to provide indoor space.
